Are you looking for a great way to spread your blog content to the masses while also making money on your own blog? Then Splush might be a great tool for you. It’s a dynamic widget that displays any RSS feed(s) of your choice. It’s fully customizable and can also display audio files and videos as well as images.
There are four easy steps for setting up a new widget. First enter the site where the widget will be displayed and then enter a name, description and tags for your widget. You can then choose whether or not you’d like to monetize your widget. You can then choose an ads visibility rate; the default is 50%. Basically, this allows you to choose what percentage of sponsored feeds you’d like to show. Whatever you decide, the left over percentage will be dedicated to your friends’ feeds (which you will need to add).
Next you can either add the RSS feeds manually that you’d like to display or, you can upload an OPML file. You can add a maximum of 50 feeds. Next either choose a theme or customize your widget manually (date format, width, colors, etc). That’s it, you’ll get the code to add to your blog. Your widget will look similar to what you see below.
If you’re unhappy with your widget or need to change something, you can easily edit the settings. You can even block certain feeds in order to prevent them from ever showing up on your widget.
You can then track your widget in the “Feed Ads” area. You’ll be able to see how many clicks you receive and how much you earn from each click. Then in the “Friends” area you can see who has actually added your feed to their widget. Obviously the more people that add your feed to their widget, the more exposure you’ll get. Unfortunately, I’m not seeing a way for people to actually discover your feed. I’m guessing maybe it’s just by word of mouth for now.
Although I’m really liking the idea behind Splush, it kind of looks like a project that has been halted. I’m not sure how well it works but I do plan on giving it a try. If you have any experience with Splush or do try it out, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

It would seem to me like using adsense on your feeds would probably bring in more cash than this.
IMO it works only for the blogs that have a large based rss feed readers.
it’s look like the feedburner animator, what’s the different?
Still in beta? I’ll try to research more on the site, but helpful content.
