Thanks for the informative article Jonathan. I understand how the tracking system works on text, but does it work the same for images. I upload illustrations to my blog daily and while occasionally I will get an email asking permission to use an image, this doesn't happen that often. Will this program track images or do you have any suggestions for preventing misuse?

What if I already have a huge article? Should I check it one by one? It will take so much time. Is there something automatic?

Until now I've been using another service which cost money and usually comes up with no results. I'll have a look at this one instead.

What about all sites showing an extract from your post and then linking to you? Will FairShare warn me about all these?

Just this morning I had a track back from a site where the author had completely copied and pasted my entire article onto their site. They didn't add any commentary about it or references to my material. I only received the trackback because I had linked to some previous articles in one of the paragraphs. Thanks for this article. I'm learning about scrapers and such. I've never really had to deal with them much before.
