I have spoken a lot about coaching programs in the last week. On Saturday I wrote about ‘11 Factors To Consider When Choosing A Coaching Program‘ and two days ago I gave you all ‘my personal view on coaching programs‘.
Yesterday saw the launch of a new coaching program from David Risley, a successful blogger who is best known for his popular tech blog PC Mech. His coaching program is called Blog Masters Club and is targeted towards people who want to become a ‘Pro’ blogger. The course costs $97 a month and concentrates on internet marketing with blogs, something which I haven’t seen before (i.e. most courses go into depth about blogging and marketing but they are taught seperately from each other).
Blog Master Club
The course includes 16 modules. A module is released once every two weeks and includes 5 to 10 videos. These videos can be streamed from the web or downloaded so you can watch on your phone or MP4 player. There is also transcripts for each video so you can read the material at your own leisure, an MP3 file so you can listen to it in the car and a checklist so that you can take notes.
Here is a list of all the modules in the program :
- The Problogger Mindset
- Selecting The Right Market
- Optimizing Your Blog
- Secrets of Effective and Compelling Blogging
- Social Media Strategy
- Pure Traffic-Getting Tactics
- SEO For Bloggers
- Making Your Own Videos
- Blog Monetization Strategies In-Depth
- Creating Your Product(s) And Sales Funnel
- List Building For Bloggers
- Creating a Recurring Revenue Stream
- Become a Persuasion Ninja
- Maximizing Profits From Your Blog
- Joint Ventures
- Automation & Outsourcing
In addition to the modules there is a member only forum and every few weeks David will hold a live coaching group call where you can him ask him questions about problems you may have.
If you want to learn more about David and his course, I recommend downloading his two free ebooks : Blogging Wealth Gap and Six Figure Blogger Blueprint (all you need to do is input your email address). If you would like to get to know David more personally, I recommend watching his Click Funneling and Road Trip Videos. In those videos he gives some great blogging tips and also explains his passion for blogging.
Overview
If you are looking for more hands on help in improving as a blogger then I recommend checking Davids program out. Those who prefer videos to text should definately consider this course as there will be over 100 videos over the 16 modules.
I have not personally seen any videos from the modules as yet but I have been impressed with the free reports and videos which he has released and he comes across as a really nice guy in person. Though I do believe absolute beginners will get a lot more from this program than those who have been blogging for a few years.
