Thanks for the Gmail tricks. Number 3 is particularly useful especially when you have more than one Gmail accounts. It’s a much more efficient way of getting around Gmail.

Here are a couple of great Gmail add-ons for Firefox: Drap and drog attachments (you'll be surprised how much you like this): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2190 Insert HTML signature into Gmail messages (this one is a little buggy, but it works pretty well) Obviously, they both work if you're using Gmail for your domain through Google apps. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7757

I’ve used Gmail since 2004 and couldn’t be happier with it. Just began, about 1.5 years ago to use google apps for managing email for my various domains and have about 50 clients I work with that use it as well. It’s so much easier, cleaner, and more secure than having to setup sendmail/exchange servers and all the headaches that come with them.

Hmmm, AIM integration is interesting for me (mostly because it’s roughly ICQ compatible) but I don’t see the option. In my gmail last option in chat tab is about animated smileys.

By the way I use gmail to consolidate several mail account under single umbrella address and it works nicely.

I love gmail and I’ve used it for a while now. I also just found a addon for firefox that allows me to put in a signature in all of my emails. Since gmail didn’t let me do that before I now have everything I need.

I’m new to Gmail. I prefer a stand alone client on my computer, and Gmail allows this. But it’s also great if I’m away from my computer and need to check my email.

I’ll have to check out some of the features you mentioned.
