Social Follow is a great tool that links all of your social networks together with one button. This is a great timesaver in that you don’t have to relist your social networks over and over again on your blogs and profiles; you can just display this simple button.
Since “Social Following is the action of following someone through all of their social accounts” then it’s pretty obvious how they came up with the clever name. When you sign up you get a free button and profile. After that, in four simple steps you can have your social follow button to post all over the Web.
The first step is to name your button in order to differentiate it from any other buttons you create (since you can create more than one button). Next you get to choose a button style; as of right now there are 8 styles to choose from as pictured below.

After that you can then enter all of your social networking profile links. This could definitely take awhile depending on how many sites you belong to and whether or not you know the links by heart. I use Start.io to keep track of all my social account profile links.
You can also choose whether or not you want a Social Follow profile. If you do want one, you can enter a little bit of profile information such as a description, location, website, blog, email, etc.

When you’re all done you’ll get the code to your button as well as a link that you can email to your webmaster (if you have one). When people scroll over your button a few of your social profile links will show with the option to click and view all links.

If you chose to have a Social Follow profile, when entering your info be sure to enter a blog and Twitter feed. Doing this will allow people to view your Twitter and Blog stream from your Social Follow profile.
I really like the concept of Social Follow. It’s easy and fairly quick to set up and, it definitely comes in handy for those with profiles all over the Web. It is actually very similar to Retaggr’s Add Me Button, which I’m also a fan of.
Is this something that you will use or do you prefer another similar tool?

Sounds good.. might I’ll give a try.. Thanks for share
Thanks great tip.
THat is the coolest! One button does it all. I’m going to redesign my Kyoto Japan website and my blogspot right now. THanks!
This is a really cool tool. Thanks!
Thanks so much for this information! I too am a fan of the Add this button and am bookmarking this page so that I can come back and check out both Start.io and Social Follow. I will likely add this to my site because of you!
Thanks again,
Andrea

I don’t see anything new with this, apart from a cool design. Existing social plugins do the job great…
You’re welcome and it may not be totally new but still very useful for those not into the existing social plugins!
Thanks for the review Charnita! Just so you know, last night we released the Social Follow button in Spanish, French and Chinese as we have been gaining ground internationally.
Hey Richael | Domain Marvelous,
I would love to know about a plugin that does this, I just haven’t seen any. A plugin that lists all the social profiles you want that you can easily add to your website, blog and forums. You can update the button from one location and it would automatically update across all sites using it.
Also in multiple languages. Please tell me. I created Social Follow for lack of a plugin but I love knowing what’s out there.
