Anyone who has ever gone to the trouble of setting up a blog knows that without some kind of internet advertising there’s little chance that the creation will get much exposure other than through the word of mouth that family and friends can supply. And let’s face the facts. Whether your new blog is about the all the great uses you know of for sunflower seeds or the latest software that you’re selling as an affiliate, a push is what’s needed to get people to notice you.
Remember that if you want your blog to well you need to have a good ranking and that means you need to get noticed by the search engines. And all the experts agree that getting good backlinks is an important part of the process. And the number of these is important as well. You’ll need to get lots to get to where you want to be but they need to be of good quality at the same time.
Rule number one applies to a lot other things as well as backlinks and that’s nothing worth having comes easy. You need to be aware that it takes time and effort to get the numbers that you want with backlinks, but the results are well worth it. Consider a few of these statistics.
The definition of a backlink is simple. It’s a link from another site to yours. When you look at the time it takes to create one, you see that it’s actually not that hard, but generally you’ll need many to change your ranking. There are many different ways to create these backlinks and we’ll deal with two of the most popular right here.
Informative articles that supply great information about the topic of your blog is a great way to get these backlinks. These articles are often posted directly to the website or they can be sold to an article distributor for more exposure. Remember that when you take the article distribution route, each site that publishes your article will also create a backlink to it.
This is another possibility. These video clips are used to sell you product or tell an interesting aspect of the life and story of the person making them. Like the articles, you can put these clips on your site or you can publish them on sites that distribute them to interested parties on the Internet.

Social bookmarking and blog commenting also work wonders. Usually, that’s even easier than video and article marketing.
Viral marketing is also good way to get back links. Your product will be mentioned by many review sites, thus you can get quality back links from these high profile sites.
Many say that having backlinks coming from .edu, .gov and .mil are very effective in getting a favor from the search engines. I have managed to get some .gov and .edu links by commenting on education establishment blogs and government blogs. mil back links are quite difficult, though.
I agree with you, backlinks can support the web for search engine optimization and get traffic from SE.
Good and useful post.I myself just started my blog.I’ll subscribe to your feed.Keep up with the good work.
Bookmarking and backlinks are surely a great way to promote your blogs…
