Charnita FanceCreate a Simple TODO List Quickly with iToody

Written by Charnita Fance from mrsfance

iToody is probably the simplest TODO list service on the Web. Best of all, you do not even have register; you simply sign-in using your Google account. When you first go to the site you will need to click on “TODO” in the upper left corner of the page to get started.

Get started with iToody TODO list.

You will then be prompted to sign-in with your Google account. From there you can then start creating TODO lists. Simple right?

TODO lists are shown as vertical tabs on the left side of the page. Currently, I am not sure if there is a limit as to just how many tabs you can create. Your fist list will be pre-named “My First Tab” but you can just click on he text in order to change it. From there, each new list will be pre-named “TODO” but once again, you can easily change it to whatever you like.

As you can see above, there’s a green plus sign that allows you to add more new tabs (TODO lists). For each tab you can add tasks in the text box directly under the title. Whenever you type a task and press enter, a new text box will appear below so that you can then type your next task.

If you change your mind about a tab and want to delete it, there’s a huge delete tab icon on the right side of the page; you can’t miss it. A notification box will pop up to verify that you do indeed want to delete that tab. Still very simple right?

Lastly, you can create notifications for each tab. You can either choose to be notified never, every day or every week. If you’d like the notifications to be sent to someone else as well, there is a “Cc:” box that will let you enter one or more email address.

So as you can see, iToody is definitely one of the easiest websites to use and the easiest TODO list service to use. It’s definitely great for the technically challenged or just those looking for a quick and easy way to create TODO lists.

Which TODO list service do you prefer?

I lvoe that you can notify someone else that the task is complete. This could be great for folks who telecommute and work at home. My difficulty has always been in the “reporting back.” Thanks for this great tip.
