Half the fun of blogger is all the learning I'm doing with all the "workarounds" to make it look like a WP blog. (have a long way to go on that one). Amanda I've spent hours learning over at your blog. A year ago I didn't even know what HTML meant.

I wonder if blogger would be any fun/challenge if there was a bunch of easy WP style templates available for download ?

As for the commenting system...would like users to be able to log in with twitter, facebook etc.

Hi Amanda! Although I have a Blogger blog for 5 years now (http://fraguexperimentos.blogspot.com) I didn't need many hacking designs for it. It's proposition was of a simple writing blog, so I was happy with the help a friend gave and that was all.

Now I'm working on a more complex blog, the one listed in my signature to this post. As I need static reference pages and things like that, I considered creating a regular webpage first, but then thought about using older posts without an archive and started working on Blogger again. I also started researching "independent" blogger tools, and so found this web site. I'm really pleased with all the contributions you make to enhance our blogger world. Many suggestions you post here I already implemented on my new blog.

Well, the feature I was really looking for when I started researching is one I still haven't been successfull in finding. I imagine it is a good one also, one that could help the organization of many blogs and flexibility of blogger utilities.

I'm talking about a Label Menu. OK, not just a regular Label Menu, but one that lists the posts under each label.

This way we could organize a blog using older posts as static pages and labeling them in a smart way. The Label Menu would automatically display the posts, so we would have a great menu in which a visitor could access specific Labeled Posts without having to open all posts of that Label.

Another way to do this would be making possible to alter the dates to names on an Archive Menu. This way we could use a "calendar system" to post specific posts on a specific day, week or month, and use an Archive Menu to categorize them, changing the display of the day, week or month to, say, "Ideas".

Right now I'm using two menus on my new blog (and as it's just beggining, I still don't have many posts to make this clear): one is a regular Label Menu, and the other is a Link List, in which I'll link specific posts through specific dates to allow accessing this posts, well, specifically. I'm obviously not using displayed dates on any of my posts, as it doesn´t really matter and even permits all the organization I'm using.

Sorry about the poor english! Hope I could help to the discussion. And thank you very much for all the help given through your articles!
