One of the great things about the infinite extensibility of WordPress is the endless array of choices you have as to how you want to display your content. That is one of the reasons that cloning is so popular in the WP themer community. So popular is the idea of cloning major websites into WP themes that it has even lead to the creation of new WordPress marketplaces such as StyleWP, a community dedicated to providing cloned themes.
For those of you that like to change up your themes often, you can have a lot of fun (and confuse the heck out of your friends) with some of these clone themes for Wordpress. Some of them will definitely fool you.

I’m not a Wordpress guru, in fact, Wordpress pretty much hates me, but I love it and I am a theme fanatic. These clones are adorable. I’m looking for a new theme for my blog (the one I have isn’t acting like I want it to) so I may consider one of these–or at least for a personal blog.
Hello Guru, The themes are extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for some good themes for my blogs, i found this wonderful post.

Nice list. I would get so confused visiting blogs with these themes though but they’re interesting none-the-less.
That is awesome. I actually really love the CNN one.I might have to use it on one of my blogs!
I find it interesting that you would want a theme so similar to a popular blog. I guess if you were in the same niche that might be really cool. Not sure how readers would feel about it though!
HAHA! Oh man, some of those clones are pretty good, but hilarious at the same time. It just goes to show how people love copying things…not to mention the ones using them.
