I have not made that kind of money yet from one blog. If you add all my blogs together close to it. The idea is to have one blog genereting at least that. I sell online and that is my source of income. I do not have any plans to stop selling as I enjoy it and allows me almost the same flexibility. However, I do want to generate that kind of money from each blog. The numbers from bloggers are interesting. I really does vary on the niche.

It would be nice to make that much. One of my sites gets over 300,000 visitors per month and only makes about $7500 per year. I've tried every advertising method available... kudos to those who make it work for them!

Even if the visitor numbers were correct, I don't see that the average blog could convert 100,000 visitors into 75,000$. I suspect that the odd blog promotes a killer product and that bring the average up. If you took the top blogs out of the equation, I suspect the average would be very much lower.

I have been blogging fulltime from home since 2007 and I have not made that much in a year.

However, what I earn today is more than what I used to earn from my previous job with less expenses. ( in my local currency )

Since I work at home, I don't have to spend on travelling expenses - gas, tol charges, parking etc etc and I have more time to do my things...

So I guess more and more people will make blogging their career in the future but only a few will ever make $75000 a year.

I make a full-time living online, not specificically from blogging but I guess I could. Those numbers seem a little high, and for your info, they are very outdated (I seen the same stats over a year ago)

Blogging is only part of the methods to my madness - I make my money via blogging, my forums, my ebooks, my lists, etc. Blogs tend to help draw customers to all of those criteria.

Data points, Barbara

these numbers should make bloggers who write in english realize how much easier it is to make money for them, than for the rest of the world.

more than 100.000 unique visitors a month equals 75.000 USD? i have a blog about cars here in brazil, and have around 800.000 unique visitors a month and dont even make half of that number.

so, it makes for me things 16 times more difficult. and i am in a niche that is good, as regards adsense earnings.
