Check Username Availability at Multiple Social Networking Sites

NamechkShama Hyder twittered about a useful service tonight called Namechk. The site checks the availability of a username at 72 websites.

If you are wondering if your regular alias is registered elsewhere then you should find this handy. Also, those who are launching a new site and are looking to promote it via social networks should find this useful too.

    The only thing it seems to be missing is the ability to check a domain name to go with it (since so many people now want to match their online identities with their domains)

    I wonder how they determine the Facebook username. Anyway, it's a great service!!
