Good post. I love Evernote and write about it frequently on my blog.

I am just spending a lot of time to really learn Evernote as the more I see of it, the more features I find.

Also, check out the How I use Evernote videos on YouTube, some great inspiration can be found here.

@kimmy Glad that it was able to help, let me know how you like it. Evernote certainly beats using Microsoft Word as a scratchpad...

wow, I'm glad I came across this blog entry. I recently started doing online jobs. Most of them are blog writing or article writing. Its hard to keep track of my resources. Funny thing is that, I usually do copy paste of urls in Microsoft word. The save it for later. I end up opening pages of MS Word and switching windows from time to time just to review my resources.

Doing it this way could make my work more organized. I should start trying evernote. This could be the answer to prevent clutters from my work.

@Kathryn: Glad that it was able to help. Trust me when I say you'll be much happier when you get all of this offline. I still have to sometimes use notepaper for transitory things, like when an idea hits me in bed, but Evernote has really replaced it anywhere I can get a good wifi signal.

@Elice: Glad you liked the article and thank you for the tips!

Thanks for the lead on this. Despite doing my entire job online, I am strictly a notebook-and-pen kind of person when it comes to keeping lists and notes for my work. I'm trying to make the switch over to online note keeping but I haven't yet found anything that's simple enough to make me want to switch over. I'm going to have to check this one out.

I think I really missed the boat on Google Notebook. I'm sad to say I never got to use it and now that it is on the way out I don't see the point in starting. Right now Evernote is working very well for me and I have no major complaints. Perhaps though someone needs to make a good Firefox extension for it...

I was a Google Notebook user and loved it. I used it much like you describe for Evernote. But I've recently started to use Evernote since GNote will not be further supported. So far, I have to say Evernote has been great. I love that I can use it on my cell with Windows Mobile. Just wish Firefox had an app that made it work like the Google Notebook Firefox app. But that's a minor quibble. I've been impressed so far with Evernote.
