I never would have thought about pulling in Creative Commons content. I would add the idea that you should pull from your archives. Let your readers know that you'll be gone and then just pre-post links to some of your favorite posts from the past. It's easy to pull some links and add just a comment or two about them to create a new post for while you're gone. Great tips here. Being a 3 time mother .... all I can say is enjoy the moments .... time flies and the wee little ones grow up FAST. As to answering your question ....
