Central repository for all your files. 2. Tends to be faster since all pages are loaded 3. In case a service shuts down... 4. My personal preference will be hosting the image files on my web server instead of photosharing services like flickr. It is safe that way and bandwidth is not an issue as some of the web hosting provider gives unlimited bandwidth and disk space. Good to read on the part 2 on this post.
