Very effective technique to combat plagiarism. Recently, my tech blog's content got scrapped, but thankfully I had added copyright notice in the feed footer. I'm going to add signature now.

Google Alerts is good however I have found that its not that good at picking content in social networks or sites such as Twitter

cool stuff. But if someone is stealing my handwritten content, google is baning their page anyway (or lowering the rank, position).. I mean if the music industry can't do anything about the mp3 stealing or movie industry about movies downloading .. what can you do as a single person?

Thanks for th good info. I nver thought that Google alert will help us to share the article that we have been wrote. I will apply the google alert now to spread all my article to others around the globe

If your trying to build a presence you need to be using google alerts. Not only so you address negative thoughts made about you or your business but also so you can thank and promote positive news about yourself.

Either way to be successful you have to know what people are saying!
