One can’t really deny the help that article writing and marketing offers. What’s good about article marketing is it gives you people who are already interested in you and what you have to offer at some point. In others words, targeted traffic. But then again, you can’t rely on article marketing alone to make it big online. There are other things you can add or do aside from article marketing. Still, article marketing is a huge help.

Completely agree – ezine articles has been a great source of traffic for me as well as delivering much-needed back links.

I have yet to use squidoo but plan to publish some content there too to drive more traffic and backlinks.

I tried article marketing last year and became an expert writer at EA, but the effect was not that good to me. I guess this is because I lack experience and strategies. Now, I am reading a lot of useful posts that may help me and I must say that I am learning here.

I have a bit mixed results. I mean it gives you a small boost but in the long run i don’t notice very much. It is good when starting a new start to promote it at start.

I completely agree – I’ve got excellent SEO results with promoting one of my sites through article marketing. I’ve never had great success when it comes to receiving visitors though… would be interested to hear if anyone has?

I have created and published a number of logo design articles through article directories and agree that they are a good way of promoting your site as long as you have an article that people will want to read and you have the time to create the article and submit it to an article site.
