3 Ways To Convince Your Readers To Buy From You

There are many products that are released every month and almost all the top products are promoted by the top bloggers. So many people promote the same product that readers don’t know from whom they should buy.

You saw Yaro Starak’s blog mastermind promoted by many of the top bloggers. There was also a product called the product launch formula launched by Jeff Walker. These are highly priced products and many of the top bloggers jumped into the bandwagon and promoted them.

With so many bloggers promoting the same product, how can you convince them to buy a product from you? Don’t you have to be creative or stand unique from the crowd?

Let’s consider one another example before we discuss the 3 ways. This is to make sure you understand what I really mean and be clear about why you should be unique. Thesis theme was released recently. How many bloggers did you find promoting it? Let me put it this way. How many feeds in your feed reader read a subject line that had a word thesis? When a big product is released, almost all the top bloggers start to promote it. I’m repeating it again. You have to be really unique to convince your readers to buy from you.

Here are the three ways to be unique and convince your readers to buy from you:

1. Case Studies
Case study is a process where you buy the product, try it and make a series of posts on how it worked for you. For example, let’s say you bought this product called blogging to the bank (I’m not an affiliate and I’m not linking to it either). First you will buy this product or if you are famous, you can get a review copy. You will let your readers know that you have the product in your hands now. You can do this by writing a blog post with a picture of you holding the product or a video where you are showing the product to your readers. The next post on the series will be on how you are going to implement it. The third post can be an update on how it is working for you. The fourth blog post would be on the results you have got from using it. In all the posts, you will have affiliate links to the product.

Case studies will prove to be a good proof that the product works and since you have showed your readers that it works, they will tend to buy from you. You also have a greater chance for ranking in the searching engine for keywords like “product name”, “product name review” etc. This really works and I learned this trick from Lynn Terry, a successful internet marketer.

2. Offer Services
You can offer any services or products that you own. Many bloggers are doing it already but you still have a great chance to make your readers feel that your offer is the best. It will take quite some time to even decide what you are going to offer. If you own any product, you can give them the product. But make sure your product is not costlier than the original cost of the product. I don’t see Jeff Walker offering product launch formula for people who buy a product that costs $47. What if you don’t have a product? Or even if you have a product, what else can you add to it to make the deal sweeter? You can offer private advertisements in your blog for the first 5 buyers. You can offer one-on-one consulting to the first 10 buyers. You can even write a guest post for the first five people who buy from you. The more offers you add, the sweeter the deal gets.

3. Videos And Podcasts
You can create a video or podcast in two hours including the time you take for preparing. The results could be outstanding when you do it right. Let’s consider videos first. You create a video where you are offering tips to do something. Before you end the video, talk about the product that you used to achieve the result. I have seen article marketers who talk about how to get to the front page of search engines and in the end, they talk about the product they used. If you are shy of camera, you can use podcasts. You can do the same thing that I said for videos. You can also interview the product owner and tell about the product. But in an audio, you cannot tell your affiliate link easily. The links have to be easy to remember. If you are promoting problogger book, you can get a domain name like TheProbloggerBook.Com (not a real link). But before you buy a domain, ask the owner of the product, if it would be fine with them.

How to stand away from the crowd and get people to buy from you? Have you tried any of the above? Please share your opinion in the comments.
