I got a chance to speak to Jim Kukral yesterday about the launch of his new coaching website TheBizWebCoach.com. If you are looking for a coaching or consultation service, I’m sure you will enjoy this interview and I recommend checking TheBizWebCoach.com out
For those who don’t know you, can you introduce yourself and tell readers a little about your online experience.
I’m Jim Kukral. I’m the super web geek that has been blogging and doing business online for 12 years or so. Often I’m described as “that guy who knows what we need to do for online stuff”. Ok, sometimes I get stumped, but really, I have worked with so many small and large businesses, across so many Web methodologies, that I’m able to help people find success online much quicker than they could on their own.
The bottom line is, I’m a teacher. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy watching success happen for my customers. It’s a huge thrill.
You have offered Consulting services for years on your personal blog. Was the decision to launch TheBizWebCoach a natrual progression from this?
TheBizWebCoach.com is very similar to what I have offered for years as a consultant. The difference is, as I found out, was that many businesses can’t afford a few thousand dollars to hire someone like me to consult with them. What they can afford, is a small monthly membership fee that gives them access to me and my expertise.
I really believe that these types of membership programs will be a huge thing in 2009 and beyond for people who are experts. If you have a particular skill or knowledge of something, there are other people out there who want to know about it and you could build a member program to help them out.
Can you tell readers a little about TheBizWebCoach and what they can expect to get from signing up.
Here’s what you don’t get as a member. You don’t get an ebook, or a set of DVD’s to buy. Who wants more of that type of stuff? What you DO get is access to the expert. Access to me. That’s really what people want. They want a person to help them, not give them “guides”.
Look deep in your heart… How many dvd sets have you bought, or ebooks and things like that, and sure, they’ve helped you, but did they really make it as easy as it would have been if the author of the ebook would just help guide you personally or answer questions for you directly?
How does your coaching program differ from other coaching services on the web?
TheBizWebCoach.com is for anyone starting out or anyone who just needs to figure out how to take their existing online business and make it more successful, or to get more sales, leads or publicity. It’s different because it’s access to the expert.
I have a philosophy that you should always over deliver for your customers. That means that instead of giving the bare minimum, I give the maximum. Why? Because I truly want to help people. If that means they don’t stay on as a member past the first few months, then fine, but in my experience, if you over deliver, you have created lifetime customers. If I’m doing a live webinar for members and 500 of them show up and each wants their questions answered, then guess what, I’ll keep the webinar going for 6 hours if I have to get all questions answered.
* A huge thank you to Jim for taking the time to take part in this interview

Jim Kukral surely knows what he is doing. I have been reading his blog for quite a while now and not to mention, he brought video blogging to a next level, just like iJustine.
