Nice post. :) I've found that helping people, whether it be providing the information yourself, pointing them to someone else, or suggesting a product, is definitely the way to go. At the end of each week, I check my stats using Google Analytics to find out which search terms people used to find my blog, and it's not uncommon for me to find a question or phrase that indicates some sort of problem they had, and I provide a solution in a later post. I'm not really involved in affiliate marketing so I'm not too worried about making sales, but overall, it's a good growth strategy for your blog.

Actually i agree with you about the tree steps.

Also i want to recommend another one step.

Free product

Give them a free product every couple of months because people
love free protuct; therefore, they will not think that
you just try to sell them a product and they will have
more respect to you.
