Blog Directory returns to BloggingTips
I added a blog directory to BloggingTips last year and it proved incredibly popular. Unfortunately, I had to remove it when the blog was redesigned in May as the script I was using wasn’t too good and was susceptible to spammers. Many of the submissions were not even for blogs and were simply links to drug and sex websites.
Thankfully, I found a script which works much better and blends in perfectly with the website and forum. You can see the new blog directory here.
Submission to the directory is free and it’s very easy to submit your blog too. All you have to do enter the name of your blog and provide a description and the URL. You also have the option of adding a thumbnail of your blog too. For more details on how to submit your blog to the directory please visit this page.
The directory won’t bring you a huge amount of traffic but it might bring you the odd visit every now and then so if you have some time please feel free to submit your blog.

No Science-Technology category for me to submit my Sciencebase Science Blog to? FYI: It’s an irreverent, and perhaps irrelevant blog about science, covering everything from astronomy to zoology by way of biology, chemistry, climate change and environment, geology, nanotechnology, physics, and more.

Joe – Yeah I’ll add a religious category once a religious blog is submitted. Yeah the directory simply uses a plugin from vb.org

Thanks for including me. Things are looking up this week even with the hurricane coming.
Do you have a selection for submission to your directory whether it is free or not? Do you put it on queue and does it take so long for evaluation of the blog to be listed in the directory? Directories tend to be that difficult sometimes. I hope yours is different.
Free blogs are accepted. If a blog hasn’t been updated for weeks on end it won’t be accepted.
Evaluation? Most sites have been approved within 30 minutes but it just depends when I’m at the computer. At the most it would be 24 hours.
Thanks! I’ve added a couple of my blogs, but my main blog covers multiple topics (with multiple categories) and I was wondering what the rules were for posting it to multiple categories.
I didn’t, I just put it in one, but I wanted to know before I tried to do something stupid.
