good points here. true, interviews are fairly quick to carry out once their set up. and you have the advantage of video, or at least perhaps audio, to post on your blog.

instead of having to agonize over what to write, all that’s needed is a conversation. sounds good to me.

This is very informative for me. I am about to launch a blog which deals with local affairs. This community is very opinionated and I am hoping to capitalize on this with posts written by me (editorial) and others with a stake in local affairs. The action will take place in the comments. (Our local newspaper has an online overflow website for letters to the editor but nobody knows about it.)
My question is: is it possible to post a video of an interview in a blog? I think one of these a week would be really great.
