good idea! i think a 90 day limit is fair to all parties. i feel the same way as you, if blogger A won’t use my post, blogger B might but i need to know!

but i still feel that all bloggers should acknowledge when guest posts are submitted and let the writer know whether the post is appropriate and has a chance of being used. even popular bloggers should respond, and if they have a “guest post” by invite only, they should state it on their blog to cut down on unwanted submissions.

@Rob: I understand busy bloggers not getting back to people — especially if people submit unsolicited posts. I'm nowhere near as popular as Darren at problogger or john at johnchow for example, but I simply can't respond to all those who write in wanting my advice, tips, suggestions, etc. on freelance writing. I'd never get my own work done.

That's why i figured 90 days was fair. No matter how busy you are, I thought that was sufficient time to "get around to it."
