I do have the Question …. Can I add the Box with the Text "Subscribe to my Blog to receive Free gift" on the Main Page just like the One on BloggingTips.com ???? I really want to add one on Blogger.com.

I've been looking for a way to offer subscriber-only content using Blogger for a while now. This looks like it would work, but wouldn't they just be able to click the RSS link and get it that way without subscribing?

I agree that this is a great way to get people to join your mailing list… I continue to wonder though what the point of getting a large mailing list is… This type of repeat traffic is not the traffic that clicks on ads or buys real affiliate products. Mailing list traffic is the type that most A list bloggers just convince to buy a product they recommend just so that A lister can make money off of it.

Isn’t what we really want organic search traffic that isn’t blind to our ads?
