Twitter and other micro-blogging have a huge potential to boost your blog’s traffic. It can be used as a tool for gaining popularity and bringing new users to the site. The net seems very busy this morning with reports that Google are about to acquire the hugely popular Digg for an estimated $200 million. It’s not a done deal as yet but it does look like it’s going to go through.
It will be interesting to see what Google does with Digg and whether they will integrate the service with Google more. Remember, they didn’t really mess with YouTube after purchasing it so it might not be integrated or promoted on Google with their other services.
