I would add to your list:

11.) To speak the truth. Many times in regular media, the big wigs are the ones who control what gets put out. Where as a small time blogger, with a big mouth (or atleast LOADS OF PASSION), the truth can be heard, spoken, seen, read.

Ed: Of course you can find time . It all depend with what you are going to blog about, but you can sometime get away with just 2, 3 posts a week
Joe Takkle: I totally agree with you here. To be successful in bloging strike that, in anything you need time, effort and ditermination. It seems that many young bloggers are under this false mentality that you can work few hours a week and become a millionaire. YOU CAN’T (With capital letters). If this was true we would all be doing it!
Chris: Yeh feedback and constructive criticisms are always good.
Tom: I honestly believe you need to love what you do in order to be successful in it. Never make a mistake and blog for money. Money will come falling in after sometime and that is when you will see the rewards for your hard work.
Andrew: Yeh feedback is always a good thing.
Kyle: I can relate. With me I see improvements on every article I write which feels very good seen your self developing on your skills.
John Young: Very true. It is like designing. Seein your creations come to life feels so good.
Jeremy: Sharing knowledge, learning your self, asking questions. As I have said on my article you can gain new skills or develop those you already have.

I would say my biggest joy from blogging is sharing knowledge. Gaining knowledge comes in a close second but sharing is always first. Thanks for the great reminders of all the reasons I keep on, keepin on!

I have to agree that these are all fantastic reasons to blog – spot on. For me personally, using the medium as an outlet (in various fashions, from emotional to creative) has been the biggest benefit. There is nothing quite like writing out your thoughts and then reading them back – something very satisfying about that.

This is a great list put together to show how much a blog really contributes too the internet. The one thing I’d like to say is that you CAN make money with a blog but takes a LOT of time and patients before the cash comes flowing in. I wouldn’t want people to get the idea that you’ll get money for blogging easily.
