Kevin MuldoonSocial Poster - Submit your post to 80 Social Websites

Written by Kevin Muldoon from System0 on June 23, 2008

If you are a social networking fiend then Social Poster might be the site you are looking for. Social Poster allows you to submit your blog post to 80 social media sites.

The site is designed pretty well. By default all social networking sites are selected however you can choose to only submit to news sites, dofollow sites, pligg based sites and more. There are links to login and register to all social websites and all sites have their PageRank and Alexa ranking next to them so that you have an idea how popular the site is.

Social Poster

I don’t think this is a service I would personally use as I’m only a member of a few social media sites however I’m sure bloggers who use several networking sites will find this site useful.

I have only really used StumbleUpon and Digg, so not much need for it really.

Yes, I only use Sphinn and stumbleupon myself so I don’t think I need a service like this either though I’m sure there are some social media fans out there who will find this useful :)

AutoSocialPoster plugin with WordPress does a similar thing but with logins saved. Just another sort of version.

I’ve been using these sort of mass social bookmarking sites for a while (Onlywire, SocialMarker, PostToster) and it is a chore of a job, but once you’ve created an account on each network, then it can be done in a few hours. It does not create loads of quality traffic, but the theory is that it creates many backlinks to your site which improves your search engine rankings. (easy to outsourse this task).
My question is, at what point does using these sorts of sites become spamming ?

Similar to Only Wire.. can be useful if you really have that MANY Accounts from Social Networking Sites.

I’ve been using SocialMarker all this time, but it lags so much due to all the advertisements :( Thanks for mentioning this site…it’s a lot more simple.
