I like STUD's method! I have a vegan blog that is in the works. Yup, it's been "in the works" since August LOL. I just can't find anything to write about, so I find that I've been taking photos of the foods that I prepare, but now the photos are stuck in my camera's SD card, and I still haven't written about what I ate two weeks ago. I used to use the trusty pen and paper, tried several times to replace the chosen note taking format to my desktop computer but it was never there when i was having my moments of brainstorming genius – until i got my Blackberry, i can hand on heart say that i have never written a thing in my notebook since i got it.

I plan my blogs link a magazine and try to focus in on one subtopic of the main blog topic every month. This keep me more focused. For brainstorming posts, I use headline templates and try to come up with a lot of great titles… then do the research and write the post.

I don't go too far in advance in case something interesting pops up I want to write about.

Thats pretty innovative way to plan the blog posts. I have always link up of future posts and also I treat it as news, if I get some hot news or breaking news, I will post them upfront. So it works like dealing with magazines/newspaper

@ Guillermo: Yes, Blackberry's seem to be the cool gadget of now. Unfortunately they don't work for me. I found gadgets complicate my work flow rather than make things easier. So for me, it's Moleskine any day over a gadget.

@ Deb: Thanks for mentioning them. They look interesting and I'm sure some readers will find them very useful. I like the "moving parts" fact too. Great to keep all necessities in one handy place.

@ Stud: Wow, this is rather impressive. Being this far ahead organized like you is the ultimate for any blogger, even me. LOL.

Not a bad technique. I always recommend some of the mindmapping software to help layout the entire site and various blog categories.
