I came across a new Twitter service today called TwitterCounter. The site gives you a small chicklet which displays how many followers you have on Twitter. The counter looks almost identical to the popular FeedBurner chicklet which many blogs use.
Here’s what my Twitter Counter looks like:
If you use Twitter a lot, it’s worth adding the counter to your personal blog

Yeah. I found the site via Yoast.com (linked in the post) and Boris from thenextweb was the first to reply to that post

Sometimes these counters can be great because it’s like adding a little friendly competition to your site. With this one, you can compete with yourself or whoever you like to increase your numbers which gives you an extra boost to market yourself.
When I’m not feeling so lazy I think I’ll add it to my own blog. Thanks

Thanks for dropping by Boris. To be honest I’m not sure how it could be improved. It’s s imple widget but it’s useful. I’ve added it to my personal blog

Thanks Kevin! I’m adding email stats tomorrow and am working on a system where you can display older stats too.
