So you’ve put in some hard time redesigning your blog and it looks fancy as all hell. But that doesn’t matter much if you don’t get the props you deserve. A redesign is a great opportunity to get more eyeballs to your site, and one of the easiest ways of doing that is by getting recognized in design galleries.

For wordpress powered blogs you might want to try We Love WordPress. In the last two weeks they have accounted for over 20% of my traffic, so you’re likely to get a good shot to the numbers here.
It’s also a great place to look at designs specifically tailored to wordpress, to see what can be done.

It never hurts to try Stylegala, CSS Beauty, CSS Remix, CSS Vault, and Best Web Gallery. These are the top names in web design galleries and only feature the best of the best. So if you get into one of these galleries then you can buy a drink and pat yourself on the back. Good on you. If you don’t then take a look at what they do feature and see if you can’t improve.

Design in of itself is a great tool for your blog, and redesigns can create even more buzz for your site.
Where do you submit designs too?

John Leschinski is the creative director and founder of Leschinski Design. His experience and knowledge are also used in classrooms to groom the next generation of web developers and business seminars discussing e-commerce and the value of good design.

I have never submitted my designs before, but it is something I may now do in the future.

I just wrote a post yesterday about 50 places to submit your design on my blog. I am constantly trying to find new places to submit as I read that someone had received 3000 views in three days just from one css website.

If your site design is based on a premium WP theme, you can also submit it to my showcase site: WP-Premiums.
