However, I would like to add that STAYING RELEVANT (I.e., blogging about socially or politically current issues, not last week's old stuff) will generate more search engine traffic. Also, PROPERLY TAGGING your posts and being relevant with your tags, as well as tagging so that people interested in related fields (not just that specific topic) will be directed to you, is also a major factor in blog traffic. These are most definitely some good hints.
