One thing i did not see is if publisher can use points to advertise sites they own also. Most programs do not do this and ikt makes no sense. You could have some good sites with alot of traffic for the program and other sites that have a product you want to sell and need traffic. This way you could use one account to promote something when you need to.

Yes, promoting their affiliate program is quite a profitable idea as well. Concerning the link building, as long as one uses this program to get limited number of links is good. Otherwise he risks a google penalty or something like that.

I was all excited about TNX.net. But when I tried to install it, I ran into problems. An error message on my blog about PHP not being supported. I searched for help online, and was told that TNX.net will not work on a Blogger blog (or any blog that requires PHP support). They gave me a very complicated workaround solution, but honestly, it's not THAT great that I am going to spend hours trying to make it work. Either it is easy to install and works right away, or I'm clicking away to something else. Time is too precious to waste. Tool bad, because it looked like a nice gadget.

I'm comsidering using them as a publisher with a humour blog I own. The google problem is still debated by a lot of people, some people have been using text link ad sites with no problem. Personally, I would only use them with some sites I own.

You have a great post here. I have been curious about TNX. I have a client that has been trying to talk me into using them for one of my hobby blogs.

You have given all the points that will help me make up my mind. I certainly wouldn't want to get a kick in the behind from Google.
