I have already started using key phrases instead of keyboards and have benefited from it. The website builder I build my site with comes with a traffic keyword tool that helps you find high demand and low supply (competition) keywords with a profitability score also. This has really helped.

I pick generic 1 word keywords and then spit it into a keyword generation site to come with phrases.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Yeah, keyword placement and enhancement is so integral for keeping your Google rankings high that I am constantly looking for ways to improve my specific keyword placement.

And since I too am in the process of re-vising my own website (such as BloggingTips.com) that I need to do another analysis of what those keywords need to be changed to.

IMO, We should take some help from Online tools for Keyword Research, Still we always need to straight forward with the keywords with our mind and for the post which it is about.
