Podcasts are a great way of sending and receiving information. It’s just so much easier to listen to something while doing other things, allowing me to multitask. I’ve even tried my hand at doing a monthly cast, but here are some design related podcasts for you to check out.
The Prepared Mind Discussion about designing human interaction. I personally listen to this show but they haven’t published in some time. Still the old shows are a great listen and the interviews are great.(rss)
Rookie Designer is another show I listen to, but it publishes on a regular basis. Good content and content is king. (rss)
Design Matters with Debbie Millman is self described as opinionated and provocative. The show interviews various names in the industry and discusses graphic design, branding and cultural anthropology. “In a business world dependent on change, design is one of the few differentiators left.” (rss)
Twentyhood is a show about life as a twentysomething. The host Scott Perez-Fox is a talented and seasoned designer out of New York that touches on cultural trends and design issues from time to time. I’ve also appeared on this show for what it’s worth.(rss)
The Rissington Podcast is hosted by designers John Oxton and Jon Hicks with segments like typeface of the week, and technology. (rss)

I never really thought about podcasts before. I will definitely have to check into it and see if it is what I want to do on my site.

I am new to blogging, and still learnig it. Thanks for sharing..
I have designed a few blogs with podcasts in mind but podcasts never really seem to take off like the video podcasts or just video in general. I actually like the audio stuff better than the video but it was never as popular (IMO).
Great tips, thanks. Scott
