Well – I love to be called on things and that’s partly why I didn’t put a solid figure – To me – time taken is vital – I can knock out 10, 200 word gadget posts in about 3 hours – 3 hours work = $75
Therefore, I will do a gadget post for $7.50

So for me – I will work for $25 per hour.

The longer it takes, the more I want

Having said that – the better you are , the more you should charge. My target is $40 per post
What about you ?

Great post! I really enjoy your blog.

However, I’m not sure why you would expect readers to post actual numbers when answering your final question:

“So, I know what I consider to be a decent rate for paid blogging – what do you think is a decent rate ?”

I don’t mean to criticize, I just thought that after all the anticipation, you would reward us with some real numbers or at least ranges.
