I didn't notice that in any of the blogs I checked out. For bloggingtips the tags are 'blogging, tips, news, resources, guides'. These tags are clearly taken from the title of the home page so I assumed that was true for all blogs (I didn't think to check other blogs to see if I was right).

I haven't signed up for Blogged.com, but I did just take a few minutes to take a look around the site. Several of my blogs are listed already, but I found a variety of errors in each of the listings. For example, my marketing blog included five tags - marketing, microsoft, underwater, shower and marketingblurb. I don't think bloggers looking for marketing blogs would search for "shower". Another example is my branding blog which is categorized under "women" instead of marketing or business.

It looks like the only way to make changes to your listings is to email support. If every blogger has errors in every one of their listings (as I do), then it will take awhile for Blogged.com to get cleaned up and truly be useful. I like the set up and it does appear to be a great new source for finding blogs, but it looks like it needs some tweaking first.
