An idle mind is a devil’s workshop. So you better blog!
I’ve wondered, what is is that makes John Chows and the John Cows look smart and cool than anyone else ? Why do they have huge fan following? Both the guys are fun frolic and jolly ! Be it in their bad times or good, they “look” smart and cool.
I don’t know about you but I’m impressed. I’d like to have a conversation with at a smiling beggar than a dull looking millionaire. All of us can’t be blogging superstars like John Chows and Darren Rowses, but that doesn’t mean you should look soar.
I’d highly recommend all budding young bloggers to keep a happy and healthy frame of mind while blogging. Because that sure does show off in your writing. And in turn, that does affect your readership – which is the measure to your success.
I don’t agree that success of a blog is purely measured on how much money it makes. But it all depends on how many people prefer you to millions out there. And that simple decision can be influenced by a secret formula – How you project yourself to the world.
Even if you are making only a few cents out of blogging every month, worry not, all big names made it from there. It’s only a matter of time, to prove whether you are a superstar or not. So stop worrying over the merits that you want and learn to be happy with whatever you have. Having said that it doesn’t mean that you have to be content. Being happy shoud not keep you from not aiming for more. For that’s what keeps you going.
The wrong strategy.
(1) Less money earned —-> Worried Blogger —-> Poor writing —-> Less readers —–> Back to (1)
The right strategy.
(1) Less money earned —-> Focussed blogger —-> Happy and healthy mind —-> Excellent writing ——> More readers —-> Gradually more money.
This might seem to be a very simple idea, but believe me simple steps and simple thinking contribute a lot to great success.
