Wow, what a quality post. You are right, we should make a review about one website then tell them about our review. But I like when you said "maybe forever", because it's so true that some websites won't reply to us even after we write a quality review about them.

Thanks for the reminder. I've incorporated the use of particular software in my posts on digital photography workflow and wondered if sending an email to the sw development would be prudent. I put this on my to-do list for next week.

Excellent post Kris, thanks.

Writing reviews on other sites and site owners is a great idea. I have been planning to do this for months and keep putting other projects ahead of it.

I use Bloglines to follow my favorite bloggers, in the various niches I have blogs in, on a daily basis and I would have months of posting. I just have to get my butt in gear and do it.

Thanks for the great read.

I have already read Michael's post and it is excellent. I like how he let's people know there is work involved. No free lunches.

That's a great idea, Kris. I write a positive review and include a link every time I come across a blog I find exceptionally good or helpful, and I'd never thought to send an email letting them know. Thanks!
