“Hey I just wrote a cool post. Can u stumble, digg and reddit for me?

“Sure. No Problem! Dugg,Stumbled,Reddited …..What’s Next?

The conversation above might be new for some and for some it’s a tried and proven method to get some social media juice. With the rise of social media sites, we as bloggers have become more susceptible to this kind of attention. Digg’s front page exposure and StumbleUpon’s 40 thumbs up along with couple reviews can do wonder for your post, it’s a well known fact.

Social Media sites have become such a powerful way to gain traffic and attention from readers that not using it might hurt you tremendously. But how many of us actually use social media sites to benefit the community? The fact that there are millions of blogs out there compels us to submit our own content so we can be seen and our voices heard.

The above conversation might not be something new for some of you. We write something and send an email, “Share” or “Send a Shout “ through our desired social media sites to get some love from the community. This post is geared towards getting an answer from you, the readers.

Are we increasingly becoming social media power users or social media abusers? What do you think?

By the way, can I get a digg, stumble and reddit?
