 I used to be a political columnist years back and this explains why to some degree I'm writing perhaps pieces that are too long, blog-wise.
But I have learned to cut back since I started. The URL listed for this question relates to a general blog I've started for neophytes involved with companion birds. (Rest assured, if it's a guy getting started late in this, it's because he's following his wife or kids! I'm modeling it a bit on Click and Clack's "Car Talk" radio show on PBS.) BUT-
I've had to "go political" and this required some digging and additional writing.

My other blog is specifically political: <a href="http://stevensslate.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">http://stevensslate.blogspot.com/</a>
but I'm not able to be as "fresh" with a new story because I'm disabled and not able to get around as much.

Just what is enough to make it interesting. With the bird blog recently I was able to patch together a "call to action" based on some legislation in another state that if passed and imitated throughout the nation would put put a lot of people in misery, not to mention kill off the pet companion bird industry.

I see a potential in combining both political writing skills and desire to get involved more with our birds, etc., thus creating a third blog strictly for Paul Revere advocacy work.

Is this what you have in mind? When I saw a list of pending bills in the various state houses, some of which were pretty draconian, I couldn't help wondering if I'd fallen across something worth pursuing.

Let me know as soon as you can. Enjoy Sunday, anyway.
Thanks, Steven

I have written a few series of posts with just an outline rather than having the whole series written from the beginning. I started out with enthusiasm, but by the end of the series I was bored with it.

In the future I am going to make sure I have the whole thing finished before I start publishing a series

Hi,

This articles just hit the nail for me. I just started my blog in November 2007 as I have some ideas to share. After outlining my ideas, I realised it will be too long to put them in one posting. I posted mine in a series using in-series plugin and related articles plugin to link them.

If you have the time, do drop by to browse through at <a href="www.fredchanblog.com" rel="nofollow"> <a href="http://www.fredchanblog.com</a>" target="_blank">www.fredchanblog.com.

My regular posting are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday while ad-hoc posting on other days of the week.

Regards.
