Elaine RamosWhen the Blogging Gets Tough

Have you ever felt so exhausted from blogging that you just need to take a break from it? I have and let me tell you, blogging during this period is an extreme ordeal.

So what do you usually do whenever you feel that the “blogging gets tough?” Well, here are some of the things which I do and these things help me re-focus and energize as a blogger:

a. Read celebrity blogs - I consider this a “break” when blogging because I love reading about celebrities and this helps my mind relax a little bit. After I get over-exposed to such blogs, I go back to blogging and I find it much easier  .

b. Reading Books - Taking a break from my computer and just enjoying reading a book is a treat and help me re-energize.

c. Playing online games - I usually play Literati and Bookworm in Yahoo whenever I ran out of ideas or if I find myself just staring in front of the computer screen. Of course, playing to me is like therapy because it keeps me from losing myself in words.

Don’t get me wrong, I love blogging but there are times where you run out of ideas and can’t even think of the first word to write. So what do you do when the blogging gets tough?

One alternative type of blog which I enjoyed when the pressure is mounting will be those personal journals or food blogs. Such lifestyle blogs just have the ability to make tension leave my head.
