Mani KarthikDon’t put off things to tomorrow what you can do today

Written by Mani Karthik from Daily SEO Blog on December 12, 2007

Everybody has only 24 hours a day. If you are thinking that successful bloggers have more time to work you are wrong. They only work more hours a day than you. In fact, they are more busy than you, but yet they find that extra time to complete the days task. You procrastinate, hence you are not successful.

This is one factor many of us live with, and is the reason for pulling us down from climbing the ladder of success, knowingly or unknowingly - Procrastination.

From the many habits of successful bloggers, one interesting fact is that they schedule things and keep them busy always. They never put off things to tomorrow. If they find something interesting today, they probably will do it today itself. But look at you, how many times have you thought - ”I have no time today, let’s do it tomorrow.”   or “This isn’t for me, I’ll try later.”?

Interestingly, things that you put off for later never really happens. What you actually do is giving yourself an excuse for not doing it today, tomorrow or the day after for that matter.

To bloggers, this can prove disastrous. Especially, when you don’t post daily and put off things for later. It’s good to post articles on a daily basis, in a regular fashion. It really gives a good impression about your blog and keeps the readers interested. Doesn’t it feel good to see a new post every day on your blog? It shows that you are courteous, dedicated and true to your readers. The only problem here is when you don’t do things regularly and procrastinate.

So never put off articles for tomorrow, write them today, plan them well using the wordpress timestamp feature, and make an impression to your readers.

    I fully agree.
