RETURNING WEB VIEWERS IS CRUCIAL IN OBTAINING LARGE AMOUNTS OF TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOGSITE
The most popular websites in the internet world today also have the most contented overall subscribers. Think about it for a moment. How many people over at MySpace do you think visit MySpace every single day? I would speculate that at least seventy percent of the daily visitors at MySpace are returning web visitors that are looking to make new friends by viewing MySpace’s main site pages for people that have the same interests as they do.

That’s the main reason why MySpace is one of the biggest phenomenons to ever hit the world wide web. When the owners of MySpace were trying to figure out the best way imaginable to keep their future web visitors coming back for more, they came up with the plan to encourage all of the MySpace subscribers to build up more friends in their personal network than best friends have.

That sense of competition really hit the social web surfer’s ego hard and compelled the new MySpace subscribers to keep going back to MySpace every day of the week and inviting new friends to join their network of subscribers. You should encourage your web visitors to have that same level of interest in your website as well, otherwise your site will never reach it’s success potential.

WAYS TO ACHIEVE HIGH DEGREES OF ADVERTISING REVENUE WITH YOUR BLOG
If you sell advertising on your blogsite, either with Google’s AdSense program or with banner advertising, it’s easy to do a quick calculation in determining why a repeat web visitor to your site will be more beneficial to your ad revenue than a new visitor would be.

An average returning customer to your site that looks at six of your web pages and then returns twelve times in the same year and views three of your web pages per visit ,is five times more valuable to your site than a new site visitor who only views four of your web pages and then never returns again.

That returning blog reader will click on a few of your AdSense text ads with a lot more frequency than any new site visitor would, thus increasing your overall advertising success formula. If you own an online store, the increase in returning traffic to your website is even more crucial because it always takes more than one visit per customer to generate an online sale.

Returning customers also are far more likely to refer friends and relatives to your web pages than a new site visitor would ever do. This will bring to your site another very loyal customer, increasing the most important traffic to your website tenfold!

UPDATE YOUR BLOG CONTENT EVERY WEEK TO GENERATE HIGH LEVELS OF TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOGSITE
Improving and updating your most relevant content in your site’s web pages is extremely important in keeping your many site visitors happy. When you update your web pages twice a month, you are only doing the bare minimum amount of updates required to keep your returning subscribers content.

I believe that once a week you need to update your main pages, and then update your other pages three times a month at the bare minimum. This will ensure your returning members don’t jump ship and go to another site similar to yours that updates much more regularly.

Your content must also have a fresh slant or angle to it, and your content should be filled with new information that can’t be found anywhere else, or why would your viewers keep coming back? If you can’t write this kind of compelling content yourself, hire a professional writer who can. You’ll be much better off in the long run.

TWO EASY WAYS TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS COMING BACK FOR MORE
1. Start a sweepstakes or contest on your site
Everybody loves to enter contests. That fact has been proven time and time again, so include one on your site that will encourage your current site members to enter and keep coming back later to see if they won something. There are many websites out there devoted to website contest information that will take your sweepstakes game and add that specific information pertaining to your site’s contest to their sites. This will force their site viewers to click on to your site if they want to enter your contest, which will bring you a huge increase in traffic to your web pages by using this exciting internet marketing technique.

2. Build a forum on your blog site
How many sites have you visited lately that you found some relevant content to read, but because they did not have any form of interactivity you could take part in, you just never returned to that site? It happens all the time, but don’t make that mistake when you attract new visitors to your own web pages.

Start a well-organized discussion forum where your blog readers can discuss any topic they wish, as long as they stay within your forum’s guidelines. You won’t even have to do much work on your forum board, because all of your web visitors will create the compelling content themselves when they respond to your forum’s many topic threads.

You can’t just jump on this traffic-increasing technique immediately, because it requires that you have at least a few hundred returning members for any forum to be a success. If you just have a couple of subscribers to the forum posting two messages that nobody ever responds to, your forum will quickly die out of loneliness.

When you first create your discussion forum, you will have to generate a few topic threads yourself to get the ball rolling. After a couple of weeks of people responding to your controversial threads, you should have the makings of a decent discussion board that will generate new site members fairly quickly.

    Hi!

That’s what we miss in a blog, the spontaneous communication. We’re considering putting a forum up.
