I might have used the wrong title here. I could’ve made it even more interesting with some thing like “earn money with internet real estate”. But I assume that many of you already know what I’m talking about. Site Flipping.

Flipping sites is a cool way to make some money online. For first time listeners site flipping means – Buying and Selling sites. That’s probably the shortest description for it.
There are quite some smarties I’ve seen who are really pro’s in this business. They pickup niche sites wherever they can find, set a deadline, promote the site and one fine day sell it off for a huge money!

It sounds simple but there is lot of strategy involved in this. You cannot buy all the sites that’s on sale at sitepoint. You got to identify which sites makes more money, which one has the potential to grow, and you should be able to calculate which site you buy would be able to give back your money. So there’s a hell lot of information and brainwork going in.

Kevin, itself is a great store house on knowledge in this aspect. He has sold/bought many websites and made somer cool cash also. I’m going to request him to write a site flipping tips article for all of us sometime soon.

I haven’t yet experiemented this, but I’m keen to. I’d like to know from the readers, their experiences of selling and buying sites, and how they made money from it. I’d also request people who failed at it to give the rest of us some tips too, because it’s all going to add up.
