This weekend has been rather interesting as far as my blogs are concerned. In fact, what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend, turned into one of those “never a dull moment” deals. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, being paid to blog is that good. I get to work from home, surf the web for my job and make some great friends. Who wouldn’t love chit-chatting about things that fascinate and energize us and get paid for it?

In one week I get to write about all sorts of topics that interest me, everything from productivity and technology to writing, marketing and of course blogging tips right here.

Sometimes you wind up having to blog on a holiday. I, for example, have a Thanksgiving deadline today for which I am totally unprepared. Fortunately, I am always happy to hold myself up as an example of what not to do, so learn from my mistakes and never, ever do the following:

Sometimes something’s are just too overwhelming to avoid. While you start blogging you are too overwhelmed and want to make it the best and earn money out of it. But mistakes you make can be avoided and it is best to avoid them in the initial stages of your blogging.
