Seems like the “Blog for sale” phenomenon has ended and everyone is getting back to serious blogging.
The most interesting post in the week past was one from Aaron Wall at Compete.com (guest post). in this post Aaron explains why bloggers have to do a day job to even buy a cup of tea! A little exaggerated that is but it makes sense. He says many bloggers get tons of traffic but they are not “smart” enough to market their blogs commercially. He has some tips too. Must read.
The AdSense team had an interesting article published on what they think is adult content. The article goes on asking question to publishers – Would you be comfortable watching such content with your parents/children in the same room? Interesting take. If you have any disagreement do let them know by leaving a comment at the post.
Matt Cutts did a quick video tutorial on what’s the anatomy of a search result when he visited the Google Kirkland office. I have a nice writeup explaining what Matt says.

Nspeaks has taken the pain to deliver a nice work around with the Brians Threaded plugin for Wordpress, customizing it in a better way devoid of the bugs for WP and the blogger community. Good work! Wayne Liew discusses the 10 variables of readability, which is a great article on the factors that will help you to make a better, readable blog.
Time to say goodbye to November, and come the season of fun, frolic and lot of spending! Wish you all a great December, which means more affiliate sales, more clicks and fatter cheques!

Maki is always brilliant in bringing a gem out of nothing. Everyone (I mean many) know the concept of push and pull marketing, but he elaborates it in a better way than most.
