In today’s post I want to talk to you about submitting your videos to as many sources as possible to increase your blogs exposure.
When you create a video for your blog, there is no reason not to distribute the video through as many channels as possible. Rich media is all the rage these days and if your video goes viral you can go from a nobody to a somebody literally overnight. The concept is really simple. You create a video for your blog. You upload the video to YouTube, Viddler, MySpace Videos, Revver and others. *Note: Make sure you use a great title and tags when submitting your video. When people search these sites you want your video to be found. If your videos are good then other bloggers will republish your video on their blog. The video sites have made this really easy by including the “embed video” code. Usually when they do this they will give you a link back giving you credit for the video.
Ok so if your paying attention you have one burning question. How do they get your Blog’s url? Simple. When you create your video your going to include a text box at the bottom of your video with the link. So even if your video is republished and you don’t get a link from the author you have made sure to give anyone viewing your video a way to find your blog.
I know the list of video sites is no where near a complete list. So if you’d like to share your favorite video site to submit videos, please leave it in a comment.
Thanks for reading and here’s to your video posting success. ![]()
