Jamie Harrop above brings up a good point… i go to some blogs with alexa ranking in the high millions yet every post has like 70 comments.. and the articles aren’t neccesarly ones that invite comments.. yet some blogs (myself include) has alexa near 100k and im lucky if i hit 10 comments on a post. always wondered why some blogs get so many commnets

Simple, but worthwhile points, Josh.

One thing that really gets on my nerves with my blog (in a good way), is my reader to comment ratio. It is very high compared to blogs with similar RSS subscribers. That’s great, but I don’t know why. For the six months I’ve been blogging, I still haven’t figured it out. I’m not saying my reader to comment ratio is a bad thing. It’s just annoying when I don’t know why I have it so good.

I think it’s time I wrote a blog post about this topic. Maybe while I’m doing so, I’ll stumble upon (no pun intended!) the magic potion that grants me with such a good reader to comment ratio.
