Blogging MarketPlace Launched
I am pleased to announce that the Blogging MarketPlace is now online at BloggingTips.com.
What is the Blogging MarketPlace?
The marketplace is a simple classifieds facility which allows bloggers to place advertisements for writing jobs, banner ad sales and more.
Currently, there are 5 categories :
- Advertising - For Sale - Advertise your remaining banner and text links for sale.
- Advertising - Wanted - Put an ad advertising the type of blog or website you are looking to advertise on.
- Link & BlogRoll Exchange - I hope this will be useful but fingers crossed it won’t be abused!
- Writing Positions - Paid - For advertising paid writing positions
- Writing Positions - Guest - For advertising guest poster positions.
I plan on adding more categories when the service becomes more popular.
How much does the service cost?
Currently it is free to post an ad for 30 days. I use the word ‘currently’ because unfortunately free services like this sometimes get abused. I will be manually approving all listings so that quality is maintained however if quality was to drop in the future then I may introduce a $5 or $10 listing fee. With manual approval though hopefully the service can remain free and it there is always the option of moving one or more of the categories to a forum room.
Suggestions & Feedback Welcome
The marketplace is 90% complete at the moment. For the most part I know what needs to be fixed etc however I appreciate the heads up in any error you find.
You should find the marketplace very easy to use. All you need for registering is an email and a password and submitting an ad literally takes two minutes!
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the section please let me know.

Like many others will say - you just beat me to it! I think after the massive movement of blogs and blog advertising lately, that this is a much needed service.

Very nice. And its simple to use and navigate. But I think the icing on the cake is that it has its own RSS Feed!

It’s a beautiful MarketPlace. My question is how did you do it? Is it a plugin? If you programmed it yourself, are you willing to sell it?
