After 6 months Google are finally in the process of updating the visible stats of websites PageRank. This is the longest wait between updates since Google started.

This is good news for those with new blogs who missed the last update (including this one) as you will probably get a PR today or in the next few days however many of you will be disappointed to see that your PR has dropped. I spoke the other day about the release candidate of WordPress 2.3.1 being released. When I logged in today I noticed that WordPress have now released version 2.3.1 of the blogging platform.

As I mentioned the other day, other than twenty odd bug fixes, the only major addition to this version is tagging support for Windows Live Writer.

When a site owner is looking for a blogger to write for them they have the following criteria in mind:

  1. Can they write original and interesting articles for the topic?
  2. Does their style suit the property and audience?
  3. Are they able to write all required types of content?
