Actually, shifting to my own domain name (self-hosted wordpress) allowed me break out of my shell. Bloggers should never feel scared of others' opinion. I mean I don't fear criticism and even rants. First of all, criticism allows me to view me and my blog from a different perspective and secondly, I've nothing to loose...

Patrick

that is a really good question as I personally agree. When I look at some of my own old posts I cringe with embarrassment because my whole attitude to blogging was different.

I broke free the moment I started to change my attitude and discover my passion. Since then writing flows freely and I guess having the experience now does help too. Despite that my journey of becoming a better blogger is an ongoing one on which I ma traveling happily.
